ADVICE NEEDED

Okay so starting tomorrow I go hardcore fasting.  I am too close to bikini season to break down and binge.  Here is my plan for the next few weeks.

NO MORE than 100 food calories a day.
ONLY foods that are completely fresh, natural, or organic.
NO starches, white bread, pasta, etc.
ZERO sugar (with exception of natural sugar from fruits).
WORKOUT for at least an hour each day.

I plan to liquid fast as often as possible, and water fast at least one day a week.

HERE IS WHERE YOUR ADVICE IS NEEDED:
1.  What other guidelines do you have for fasting to get the fastest and most consistent results possible?
2.  What advice do you have to help prevent bingeing/tips to stay on track?
3.  If I am planning on buying new bras in the future, how much do you think my boobs will shrink/change by the time I reach my goal weight?  Should I just wait to buy new bras until I've lost most of the weight?

Please comment back and let me know what you think!  Thanks so much ladies!

Love you all! xoxo
Lexi

  1. Hey darlin. This is a looong comment, but I hope you find it helpful. =) I may just post it on my blog later, but at present it's just for you hun. ;)

    1. Fasting: My best guideline for fast-weight loss via fasting is to AVOID liquid calories...they are so easy to consume but they add up like crazy. Juices (while they may seem nice) are incredibly high in sugar and calories. Plus liquids really don't give you a lot of energy...with the exception of course of sugarfree energy drinks like Monster and Rockstar, at only 10 calories per serving. I do recommend those.

Plus, it helps to increase caffiene intake. Not only does that keep you going longer (you burn more calories when you're awake :P), but it accelerates your heart a bit, ensuing a metabolism boost. You know all those diet pills in the stores? In essence, what a lot of them do is just increase your heart rate. Exercise does this too. So caffiene is a yes.
(So for fasting, stick to sugarfree, lowcarb energy drinks, black coffees with sugar substitues, sugarfree lemonade [very tasty] and diet sodas high in caffiene like mt. dew and dr. pepper)

    2. Binges: My best binge-stopping tactic came around when I realized and embraced the fact that I will always want to eat. I know this sounds sort of basic, but often we tend to think: "if I feel a really strong urge to eat, then I've lost control and I'm gonna binge." NO. This is not the case! I always crave things. It's a very tiny percentage of my time that I am NOT craving food of some sort...but I really have to balance the cost. I've set a very high (or low, depending on how you look at it) standard for what I am allowed to eat. a.k.a. anything over 80 calories per serving seems inedible to me. And trust me, there are very few foods at 80 calories or less. So, by psyching myself out, the risk of getting fat via whatever food is in front of me outweighs the "joy" of eating it. But just understand you WILL want to eat...a lot. And it WILL be hard to not. Insanely hard at times. But think of how great you will feel later when the temptation is gone and you are still empty and on track.

    3. Bra-sizes: Ana performs a lot of miracles, but this isn't really one of them. I've lost 30 pounds (as you know) and I'm still wearing the same bras I was 6 months ago. Now, I do admit that before I lost weight, I felt like I was spilling out of them a little bit, and now they feel rather loose. Still supportive, but loose. I doubt you'll lose much in the way of cup sizes, but as for the measure of circumference around your body, that number will most definitely drop. My last purchased bra size was 38D, and I think now I am easily a 34D or 32D. Who knows, maybe I'm a 32C? That would be epic...
Anywho, I guess my point is that you won't really be in desperate need of a new bra, but if you're buying them anyway, you might benefit from a lower number. Let me know what you change to. I should probably get a new bra sometime soon too. =P

Hope all this helps. Keep me posted on your progress, YOU CAN DO IT!!! :)

    Think thin, xoxo

  2. hi there honey!

i wish you so much luck with this and hope you succeed!

from reading your posts i seem so so much like you!
i've constantly been worried about my weight since before i was 10 probably. My mum doesnt help; calling me fat all the time and telling me that i need to lose weight. i already know that much without her reminding me of it every single day.
Im 5" and weigh a horrid 133 *yack* i managed to lose quite a bit when i broke up with my last boyfriend but then i got with my current one and i seemed to calm down about my eating because he seemed to love me no matter what. but now i've let it creep up too high (my highest weight yet)
my friends have always said that they think i have non-purging bulimia as i tend to eat normally for a while and then feel really bad about it so stop eating for days or seriously restricting my diet.
recently i've started at uni and it seems like everyone else there is thin and beautiful and im a fat ugly beast in comparison =[ i dont feel happy at all and miss that feeling of being so hungry it hurts, the feeling you get when you know your doing so well.
im moving away from home in July and have decided that i need to stop being a fat cow now. so really, im trying to get thin for summer too. (sorry this comment is getting really long but i've felt like i've needed to tell someone all of this for so long, im sorry)

my first goal weight is 120 but i would love to get down to under 100 by summer (as if that will happen)

i think im going to start my own blog too, as i think it will help. are you finding that?
i just really need some support is all, and to talk to some people who will understand and who are also going through this.
